The presidents of the Council of Transparency and Good Government, Concepción Campos Acuña, and of the Independent Authority of Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF), Inés Olóndriz de Moragas, have held today an initial institutional meeting since their recent appointments. The AIReF is one of the institutions that has representation in the Transparency and Good Governance Commission, a consultative collegiate body of the Council

A delegation from the Department of Ethics and Government Integrity (DIGEIG) of the Dominican Republic visited the Council’s headquarters yesterday and held a meeting with its management team, headed by its president, Concepción Campos Acuña, to exchange knowledge and analyze the current challenges in terms of transparency and guaranteeing the right of access to public information in the two countries.

In the framework of the series of institutional meetings to make contact on the occasion of the beginning of her mandate, the new president of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance, Concepción Campos Acuña, has met today with the director of the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), Manuel Pastor Sainz-Pardo, to analyze channels of cooperation that can strengthen the training of public employees in transparency and the right to public information.

As part of her recent appointment, the President of the Council for Transparency and Good Governance, Concepción Campos, held an institutional meeting today with the President of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), Lorenzo Cotino. Both have agreed on the desirability of strengthening collaboration between the two institutions, with the aim of ensuring an appropriate balance between the right of access to public information and the right to the protection of personal data.

The President of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance, Concepción Campos, held today two institutional meetings of first formal contact just started her mandate.

Available for consultation on the resolutions issued by the Council in March in 151 complaints procedures against the General State Administration and the state public sector.

The President of the Council for Transparency and Good Governance, Concepción Campos, and the General Secretary, Isabel Lombardero, participated today in the first Assembly of the European Network for Transparency and the Right of Access to Information (ENTRI). This Network was established in 2025 as a stable framework of collaboration between the guarantor bodies in this matter of the different European states.

The first Steering Committee of the Council of Transparency and Good Governance under the Presidency of Concepción Campos met today to define the priority actions for this new stage, oriented towards the strategic lines that he announced in the appearance before the Finance and Public Function Commission of the Congress of Deputies that endorsed his appointment.

Available for consultation the resolutions issued by the Council in March in 92 complaint procedures against the regional and local administrations of those autonomous communities with which we have agreements.
